Guidelines

  • If you desire you can opt for various allowances under the Organizations BoB scheme. These allowances will be adjusted against the "Special Allowances" or existing BoB components of your gross salary and does not entail any additional payout to you.
  • You can also opt for VPF upto 100% of Basic Salary.
  • Kindly go through your previous month's salary slips to understand your Current BoB options and Special Allowance amount to make a judicious choice.
  • Once you provide your option for the BoB allowances & VPF mentioned here, your salary will be restructured accordingly.
  • Please read carefully, the terms & conditions provided below involved for each allowance, as once you have chosen the allowance, you cannot change it for next 12 months, i.e. till 30th June 2023.
  • You must send in your options latest by 13th July 2022 , for cases where no response is received, the existing options for BoB will continue to be applicable.

Impact of opting for BoB & VPF over the monthly in-hand salary

  • Apart from Food coupons & VPF there is no impact on in-hand salary due to opting for BoB components, in case of Food Coupons depending upon the option, Rs 1100 or Rs.2200/- p.m. will be deducted from salary and you will be provided with Food vouchers/card worth Rs 1100 or Rs 2200/- p.m. The VPF amount will be deducted and deposited in your current EPF account.
  • In case employees do not submit supporting bills for the BoB opted, that much of amount becomes taxable as per the applicable Indian Income Tax Act.
  • In case employees opt for VPF, the amount will be deducted from Monthly salary. Kindly note NO contribution from Employer will be done for VPF. Kindly contact HR in case any clarifications are needed.
BoB & Others Heads Supporting Documents for valid claims Whether Opted for
Telephone/Internet Allowance Post- paid phone bill and/or internet in name of the employee is required. For each month employee can submit only one phone & one internet bill Yes No
